Waiting for something to happen...
Journal Entry: Wed May 7, 2008, 4:21 PM
Ok, winter has been very long, I'm sick of hibernating, and I'm waiting for something to happen so that I can take pictures.
This coming week-end, first Agility-trial of the season for Axelle and me.
The weather should be good, and I'm taking my Canon.
Silane is "retired early" from Agility, but has been learning a few cute tricks, I'll have to figure out how I can take pictures of her doing them.
- Mood:
Neutral - Listening to: The dogs snoring.
- Reading: "Dog tricks" by Mary Ray.
- Watching: The dogs sleeping.
- Playing: Not now.
- Eating: Just finished a piece of cheese.
- Drinking: Tea - What else...?!

the 10 sec exposure was too light and the 6 sec was too dark.
and i was cold and tired of cleaning the misty rain drops off my lens haha.
thanks for the comment!
I usually use the flash, and shoot at an angle to the glass, so there is a reflection, but at least it's not on the fish.
How is it there's no glare on the glass tank ?

True, the Canon lens is more expensive.
Mine also is f4-5,6 and that's the problem, it needs plenty of light.
I'm dreaming of a 70-200mm. f2,8...
But that's not my budget.
Keep up the good work !
I would have liked the beak to be in focus also but I didn't have much time to think about it. I couldn't believe it held still that long!
That was my Sigma 70-300 with macro lens. (Canon is too expensive)
Thanks again
